Lake George Mine Entrance
The entrance to the mine, buried when the mine was closed, and uncovered again in early 2006. The Bungendore Mirror featured a front-page article about the uncovering, which is available here.

This is the Miners' Memorial, situated on Foxlow Street.

The Outsider Coffee Lounge and Gallery
The Outsider Restaurant, situated in the main street, is one of the most popular restaurants in the region. Now open limited hours. Phone for information.

Captains Flat Hotel

Post Office
The Town's Post Office is now a private residence.

Museum
The ex-hospital, now a museum (but currently closed), occupies a slope at the northern end of town, where it operated for 17 years. By the time of its closure, $20,000 in equipment had been purchased by the community, including a specially modified wing just to cater for the needs of one dying miner. Unable to find staff, the hospital was shut down soon after the mines closed.
